FRILL DETAIL JACKET

En las afueras de Madrid hay una localidad que tiene un mirador desde el que se contempla, no solo la parte Norte de la ciudad al fondo, sino también una de las terminales del aeropuerto y puedes estar un buen rato viendo cómo despegan aviones sin parar. Es como cuando ves a los jubilados parados delante de una obra viendo como los obreros trabajan. A veces te preguntas, porqué lo harán? Creo que, después de haber pasado parte de una mañana en este observatorio, lo hacen por el simple placer de ver la actividad y la acción desde su quietud; y además, porque relaja enormemente, algo que todos necesitamos.

En nuestro caso ese relax es relativo porque Chloé, alucinada viendo cómo los aviones dejaban tierra para surcar el cielo, no dejaba de correr y de asomarse peligrosamente por el precipicio, además de decir asombrada, «qué pequeñitos son mami» (los aviones jajaja). Es lo maravilloso de este lugar, que te sientes un poco grande desde allí arriba.

In Madrid there is a locality that has a viewpoint from which it is contemplated, not only the northern part of the city, but also one of the terminals of the airport and you can have a good time watching how planes take off without stopping. It’s like when you see retired people standing in front of a play watching how the workers work. Sometimes you wonder, why will they? I think that, after having spent part of a morning in this observatory, they do so for the simple pleasure of seeing activity and action from their stillness; and also, because it relaxes enormously, something that we all need.

In our case that relaxation is relative because Chloé, amazed to see how the planes left earth to cross the sky, did not stop to run and to look dangerously by the precipice, in addition to saying in astonishment, «how little they are mami» (the airplanes) . It is the wonderful thing about this place, that you feel a little big from up there.
